About Connect Northern Rivers
CONNECT, the Northern Rivers Community Partnership, is an incorporated not-for-profit organisation that works with schools, parents, businesses and community organisations to help young people.
CONNECT is funded by the Department of Education, Employment & Workplace Relations (DEEWR) and the Department of Education and Communities to deliver:
- Structured Workplace Learning
- Partnership Broker Program
- Indigenous Employment Program
CONNECT assists young people by working with schools, industry, parents and community to:
- Facilitate industry work placements;
- Facilitate high quality partnerships that link key skateholders together with shared commitment, goals and outcomes to improve young peoples education and transition outcomes.
- Are committed to closing the gap for young indigenous people of the Nothern Rivers Area.
CONNECT actively promote School Based Apprenticeship and Traineeship opportunities for young people.
